About the company
Established in 1992, AEI began supplying Wickes Building Supplies, a UK based retailer with OEM branded security products. By 1996 we soon reached over 200 retail outlets selling AEI products, including other major retail stores such as, B&Q and Focus DIY.
By 2000 work began on Video Sender based products and in 2003 we created the DigiSender® brand, which is now available in over 800 retail stores throughout Europe. This also led to development work on behalf of NTL – the American Cable TV giant now owned by Virgin Media – developing a custom module which allowed them to interface PCs to their 2 million set top box receivers already in the market, providing broadband internet services. From this we also provided solutions to other technical barriers, including the need to interface our own DigiSender® range with their bespoke IrDA Remote Control protocols. This interfacing technology is still used today in our DigiSender® X4, X7 and Zentrum™ models providing the only world source of Video Senders capable of working fully, with every make of set top box ever made.
The DigiSender® brand has established itself as a solid brand of European designed products created within AEI and for which investments in tooling and custom designed PCBs, now tops $100,000 and supports a multimillion dollar turnover.
With advances in internet based multimedia programme providers, AEI has invested in streaming media products creating a range of High Definition DigiSender® products with Internet compatibility. Working with our American partners we have created a series of Streaming media integrated circuits allowing us to manufacture a new generation of DigiSender® products and increasing our investment and product range dramatically. ‘Chronos Stream Media’ is a new generation of exciting High Definition products for the transmission of Digital television around the home, including, Internet programme providers and across the internet.
With sales support in the UK, Germany and USA, AEI products are now sold in over a 1000 outlets worldwide and our mission is to remain at the forefront of innovation providing Video Transmission solutions for home and commercial applications. We will also continue our investment in Internet based instructional videos, supporting our most recent product introductions and providing unprecedented levels of customer support and product satisfaction.

Shipping
We ship all stock items with 2 working days. Orders to UK mainland residential addresses are sent by Initial City Link or by royal mail. DHL is used for business addresses and TNT for all overseas orders.
NOTE: We will usually use DHL, Citylink or TNT to dispatch the order so someone will need to be present to accept the goods and sign for them when delivery is made. Our Couriers will make 2 attempts to deliver and if you are not present a card will be left, this will allow you to contact the courier company. If after 2 attempts to deliver and a period of 5 days passes without delivery or collection the order is returned to us undelivered by our courier, it will be credited minus a £25 surcharge. If you envisage there being difficulty delivering this order e.g. no one will be present to sign for the order on a particular day, please notify us as soon as possible and we will try our best to accomodate your request. Please note that timed or Saturday deliveries are not possible. Discounted offers of shipping/delivery charges apply to UK mainland customers only.
All items are supplied with a 1 year return to base warranty. You also have a 7 day no questions asked period where you can return the product for a full refund for any reason.
